What is a QR code menu? Do guests need an app?
It’s a digital menu that opens when guests scan the QR code on the table. No app needed: it opens in the browser, in their phone’s language.
Why not just Google Lens?
Lens translates whatever the camera sees, word for word — “kleftiko” can turn into something meaningless. It shows no photos, allergens or dish explanations. With Platoo guests see the right name, a photo, allergens and your current prices.
How much does it cost? Is there a free QR menu?
Yes, Free is free forever. Business is 4,99 € a month or 50,88 € a year, with a 14-day free trial. For chains and hotels there is Professional, with custom pricing. No setup fee and no contract.
What about winter, when my venue is closed?

Are Greek dishes translated properly?
Names stay the way tourists know them (Moussaka, Kleftiko) with a short explanation in their language. You can edit every word.
